Coming back from a devastating injury that some thought might end his career, Marvin Harrison should be a good, but probably not a great, fantasy wide receiver in 2008.

The Top 10 Wide Receivers

11. Marvin Harrison, Indianapolis Colts (5 games, 247 yards, 1 TD). He's been practicing twice a day in camp and reports that his knee, which kept him out most of 2007, feels fine.

12. Roy Williams, Detroit Lions (836 yards, 5 TDs in 12 games). A preseason favorite among 2007 fantasy football draft pickers, Williams disappointed last year; the victim of a team with no running game and a pastina strainer for an offensive line. His abilities rank him in the top five. The Lions keeps him out of the top 10.

13. Tory Holt, St. Louis Rams (1,189 yards, 7 TDs). He's lost a step. Quarterback questions. Still a great second receiver though.

14. Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers (1,002 yards, 7 TDs). The preseason fight, the 2007 dropoff in production, and the questions surrounding quarterback make this former number one receiver a risky fantasy choice.

15. Plaxico Burress, New York Giants (1,025 yards, 12 TDs). Plax made the biggest catch of his career in the Super Bowl, and he should be a hero in New York. But even in his best season in five years, Plax was still not exactly what you'd call a fantasy superstar. Look for 1,000 yards and 8-9 TDs.

16. Vincent Jackson, San Diego Chargers (41 receptions, 623 yards, 3 TDs). He showed flashes of brilliance down the stretch and was fantastic in the playoffs. Big, fast, strong, fearless. But will he get enough touches?

17. Jericho Cotchery, New York Jets (82 receptions, 1,110 yards, 2 TDs). Cotchery's fantasy value has been limited by weak-armed quarterbacks who can't hit him when he's open downfield. With Brett Favre now throwing the ball for the Jets, expect to see Cotchery get 1,200 yards and 7-8 TDs.

18. Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons (83 catches, 1,202 yards, 6 TDs). Somebody, please, get this man a quarterback.

19. Wes Welker, New England Patriots. (112 receptions, 1,175 yards, 8 TDs). He will catch a lot of passes for short yardage, but at least 8 or 9 of them will finish up in the end zone. Somehow, Welker is a clutch fantasy player, whatever that means.

20. Brandon Marshall, Denver Broncos (102 Catches, 1,325 yards, 7 TD). 2007 was a breakout year for Marshall. He would rank even higher, but he's suspended for the first three games of the season, which will cut into his overall value. As Jay Cutler’s health improves (from a bad diabetes scare last year), look for these two to hook up for a 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns.

Annalise Kaylor :
I am surprised that Calvin Johnson isn't on this list, even if he didn't break out a bit until the last few weeks. I think he'll see more action than Williams for the Lions.
