Week 13: QB Rankings Fantasy Football
1. Jay Cutler-
The Jets have been playing good football but the rankings have Cutler at the top because the Broncos are coming around on offense and the Jets are ripe for the upset. With targets like Tony Scheffler, Eddie Royal, and Brandon Marshall going well, expect Cutler to be the top fantasy QB this week.
2. Drew Brees-
Great player, fairly tough matchup on the road against Tampa Bay. But Reggie Bush could come back in week 13 and add even more help to Brees, possibly leading to similar top fantasy QB numbers from the former Purdue gunslinger.
3. Tony Romo-
Against Seattle on Thanksgiving, Romo is a great bet to put up huge QB numbers. Romo is used to playing under the bright lights and while he does make mistakes a lot, he also happens to put up huge fantasy numbers at QB. Week 13 will be no exception against a Seattle team heading nowhere.
4. Donovan McNabb-
Against an okay Arizona defense and with a lot to prove, expect McNabb to come out firing in week 13. QB's don't take well to benchings sometimes but McNabb has the personality and toughness to bounce back and play focused and smart, leading to huge fantasy numbers in week 13.
5. Brett Favre-
Favre is finally getting his QB-WR timing down and it is paying big dividends for the Jets. This week 13 matchup against the Broncos could easily be a big-time shootout leading to big-time fantasy numbers again for the ageless Favre at QB.
6. Kerry Collins-
Hey, it's the Lions, so why not start Collins? Either he or the running backs have the ability to light up Detroit for big fantasy football points. It's pick your poison time for the Lions on Thanksgiving.
7. Kurt Warner-
Either Arizona will play a solid game and throw to get the lead or they'll fall behind big early and Warner will get a ton of garbage points at the QB spot for fantasy football in week 13. Either way, Warner deserves this high ranking and maybe some NFL MVP votes in 2008.
8. Peyton Manning-
Manning plays worse outdoors later in the year but the Cleveland defense is so bad that this high fantasy QB rankings is more than justified.
9. Chad Pennington-
He should hit Ted Ginn Jr. and Greg Camarillo fill-in Davone Bess for some nice fantasy points at the QB spot this week if Ronnie Brown doesn't steal them all.
10. Ben Roethlisberger-
Hold that pocket, Steelers o-line, and Roethlisberger will be able to pick apart the NE secondary for some high QB points this week. Week 13 could be his biggest game or possibly a bust, the o-line is the key. Start Roethlisberger but beware he could have a bad day without proper blocking as the QB of your fantasy team in week 13.
