Here are some quarterback projections and rankings for NFL week 6 as you attempt to decide which fantasy players to start.
Don't expect a ton of huge QB games week 6 in fantasy football, but many QB's will have solid fantasy efforts for their teams. Week 6 Fantasy Football QB RankingsFantasy Football Stars for Week 6 1. Jason Campbell- Taking on the Rams with Santana Moss and Chris Cooley as big-time weapons will give Campbell his biggest fantasy day of the season. 2. Jay Cutler- Jaguars; defense is stout but the Broncos' passing attack is in great rhythm right now and should put up big fantasy points in week 6 of the NFL season for fantasy owners. 3. Brett Favre- He's not done yet, folks. Cincinnati is a mess and Favre is developing a good rapport with guys like TE Dustin Keller, WR's Jerrico Cotchery and more on his new team, the Jets. 4. Aaron Rodgers- At Seattle will be tougher than many people think but Rodgers has such a great receiving corps and the Seahawks have such a bad offense that he will get the opportunity to put big fantasy points on the board in week 6 of the NFL season. 5. Drew Brees- Taking on Oakland seems a bit tricky at first glance after a big Monday Night game but Brees is a fantasy superstar who is a must-play every week. 6. Donovan McNabb- Philadelphia should blow the doors off the 49ers this weekend and whenever Philly puts up big points in fantasy football you can guarantee McNabb had a big hand in them. 7. Matt Schaub- If he's back, he could light up Miami with Andre Johnson now healthy. His projection for week 6 is in the realm of 250 yards or so if healthy for week 6. 8. Chad Pennington- He might be able to throw for 2-3 TD's in a surprisingly high-scoring game with the Texans this week in fantasy action. 9. Tony Romo- Arizona is a bit tough at home but Romo has the weapons to project to big fantasy numbers in just about every week, including week 6. 10. Kyle Orton- He's getting comfortable and Atlanta is not quite as good as they've shown this year. If the Bears get the run game going he can hit some short passes for YAC to take advantage of Atlanta's blitzes making him a good fantasy play in week 6. Fantasy Football QB Sleepers for Week 6Other players I like to have surprisingly good week 6 games include Gus Frerrote, Marc Bulger, JaMarcus Russell, and Matt Cassell. Just because the rankings don't include a top QB doesn't mean they aren't capable of a big game. Fantasy football is so unpredictable that it's hard to pick a top 30 let alone a top ten every week so go with your gut instinct.
