Running backs like Clinton Portis have continued their fantasy dominance with big numbers while other players like Steve Slaton and even Deuce McAllister are emerging.
Which RB's will have the most points in fantasy football's week 7 in the NFL? Read on: Week 7 Fantasy Football RB Rankings1. Clinton Portis- The Redskins' offensive line is healthy again and that translates to big fantasy numbers most weeks for this top RB, whose straight ahead burst, power, and speed allow him to rack up big numbers most weeks and to stay a viable red zone option. Cleveland had a good performance against the Giants and prevented some big fantasy games by their stars but Portis should be able to punch in 2-3 touchdowns according this projection, anyway. 2. Chris Johnson- Even if Johnson doesn't show consistency against Kansas City and rack up a ton of yards on each carry, the odds are excellent that he will get loose on a screen pass or maybe break a long run that will lead to enough yards and a TD to turn in a good fantasy performance. He is a must-start in week 7 for fantasy football RB's. 3. Willie Parker- If Parker is back as expected, my projection for him against Cincinnati is over 100 yards and two touchdowns. The Bengals are a wreck with Carson Palmer ailing and no direction. Fantasy owners should take the chance on Parker despite him coming off of an injury. 4. Marion Barber- The Rams might be a little better under Jim Haslett but this Cowboys star RB will put up nice fantasy points with one TD pretty much guaranteed, if not two for week 7 of FFL action. 5. Reggie Bush- Carolina's stout defense will force the Saints to get creative and get the ball to Bush on the edge. I'm projecting a lot of yards both receiving and running in these week 7 rankings for Bush, a fantasy star who was drafted too low by my fantasy players. 6. Warrick Dunn- He was forgotten before the season by fantasy owners but he has proven to be a quality number three or maybe number two RB lately. Taking on Seattle will lead to some nice fantasy RB numbers in week 7. Brandon Jacobs- The Niners probably don't feel too much like tackling him this week. You can't really blame them. My projection is two touchdowns this week for this quality fantasy RB. 8. Michael Pittman- The Denver RB fill-in for Selvin Young had a nice fantasy game last week and against New England should be a similar solid game, hence this projection for week 7. 100 yards seems possible. 9. Thomas Jones- The game at Oakland will see Jones continue his fantasy resurgence which began last week. The Jets' offense is getting comfortable now and Jones will have a nice day on the ground by fantasy RB standards in week 7. 10. Steven Jackson- St. Louis isn't great but Jim Haslett will have them running the ball again and tougher as a team. Jackson is a fantasy star at RB who is stuck behind a bad line. But against an average Dallas defense he will punch in a TD or two with some yards to make a solid day in week 7 for fantasy RB's.
